Withdrawal, Cancellation and Refunds

Contract structure

With Runestone Realm there are two separate contracts:

  • a free usage/account contract with Stixlieber UG (haftungsbeschränkt) for the provision of the service. This contract is free of charge; you can delete your account at any time;
  • a paid purchase contract for the subscription with our Merchant of Record Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Telliskivi 57b/1, 10412 Tallinn, Estonia). The purchase, payment, VAT, withdrawal and refunds are governed by that contract with Creem; Creem's buyer terms apply.

Right of withdrawal for digital content

Before we forward you to payment, you — as a consumer — expressly confirm in an intermediate step that performance of the contract (immediate access to the service) is to begin before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun (§ 356 (5) German Civil Code / Art. 16 (m) Consumer Rights Directive). This confirmation is stored with a version and timestamp. If you do not give it, no subscription is concluded and any 14-day right of withdrawal remains with you.

Cancelling the subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • in your account under "Manage subscription", or
  • via the Creem customer portal (link in the payment confirmation from Creem).

After cancellation you retain access until the end of the billing period already paid for; there is no pro-rata refund for unused partial periods. The subscription renews automatically by one month at a time unless cancelled.

Refunds

Refunds and chargebacks are handled by Creem as Merchant of Record in accordance with its refund policy. For support or refund requests you can contact us first: support@runestonerealm.com (we respond within 3 business days). Where necessary we will refer you to Creem.

Note

Mandatory consumer rights (e.g. statutory warranty, mandatory withdrawal rights under the law of your country of residence) remain unaffected by this notice.
